The introduction of FRS 101 Reduced Disclosure Framework has given the subsidiaries of listed companies the option to change their accounting approach in the latest set of financial statements. For the purposes of this research, we analyse the financial statements of a sample of 29 parent companies, who are all members of the FTSE 350 to see how they are applying FRS 101.
