Gibraltar and Brexit: low-tax financial status at risk

There is a great deal at stake for both the UK and Gibraltar with regards to Brexit. For the UK, the issue of Gibraltar's sovereignty has the potential to become a major stumbling block in the EU withdrawal negotiations. For Gibraltar, which is at risk of losing its vital access to the EU's financial markets, and is facing territorial claims from a Spanish government determined to neutralise its tax advantages, Brexit could be a matter of economic life and death.
