Healthcare company sold out of administration

Six jobs have been saved after a buyer was found for a healthcare company placed in administration.

Wiltshire-based Glebe Healthcare Supplies and Services Limited, formerly known as Mobility South West, provides goods and services in the healthcare environment, and boasted an annual turnover of some £880,000.

SFP's Daniel and Simon Plant - both licensed members of the Insolvency Practitioners' Association - were appointed joint administrators on 12th September 2012.

SFP partner, Simon Plant, said that although the company ceased to trade two weeks ago, a sale had been achieved: 'Glebe Healthcare has been unfortunate in that a product recall has exacerbated cash flow problems and caused it to go into administration.

'Following discussions with a number of interested parties, a sale of the business as a going concern has been achieved preserving all six jobs.'
