EV charging business collapses with £18m in debt after ambitious global expansion plan fails leaving company forced to call in administrators

EO Charging, the trading name of Juuce Limited, has entered administration, with nearly 70 jobs cut as vehicle charging infrastructure business fails.

Edward Williams, Ross Connock and Victoria Hatton of PwC have been appointed joint administrators of EO Charging, the trading name of Juuce Limited, which was set up in 2014 by Charlie Jardine, a 23-year-old entrepreneur, who was majority shareholder of the business until February 2023.

EO Charging provides electric vehicle charging infrastructure, software and support services to mainly fleet customers, including supermarkets and commercial fleet operators with clients including Amazon delivery depots and bus operator, Go-Ahead group.
