HMRC hires Moyo and Maverick Mother for TikTok ads

To ramp up its online presence, HMRC ties up with some big TikTok influencers to push the HMRC app

TikTok users may be surprised to find HMRC appearing on their social media feeds this week, after the tax office partnered with popular influencers to produce a series of videos and ads promoting the HMRC app.

One popular TikTok influencer who appears on the ads is Moyo, aka YourBoyMoyo, who has 3.2m followers for his hilarious videos and skits about his life as a travel influencer.

His content is mainly targeted at young people, creating high octane videos, discussing fashion trends, online gossip and now HMRC.

In the ad, Moyo enthusiastically promotes the HMRC app, rapping about its features, filmed as if he is inside the app itself.
