ICB launches small business pensions initiative

The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) has teamed up with pensions provider Aviva, and the national IFA, LEBC Group Ltd, to develop an online solution offering micro and small businesses with pension schemes, so they can meet the requirements for auto-enrolment

Based around Aviva’s auto-enrolment solution and group personal pension, LEBC Group will be offering an ‘advised’ proposition to all 30,000 UK-based ICB members, their clients and small businesses around the country.

The proposition, called ‘ICB Pension Solutions’, is being formally launched at Accountex on My 13 and 14.

Garry Carter, ICB chief executive, said: ‘The whole solution will be online and easily accessible to ICB members, their clients and all small businesses. Additionally, the pensions meet all the criteria laid down by the Pensions Regulator and the auto-enrolment software keeps administration to an absolute minimum.

‘This is a win, win solution and I am very certain this will give ICB members a great deal of confidence when handling their clients’ auto-enrolment and pensions requirements.’
