Business training group Kaplan Financial has won a contract to provide the Audit Commission with a new public audit variant of the accountancy qualification from CIPFA . Kaplan will be working closely with CIPFA to modify the public sector accountancy qualification and provide new classroom support material. Peter Anderson, the head of business development at Kaplan, said: 'We will build an innovative programme using the learning management system that we have developed to support our existing qualifications'. Adrian Pulham, director of education & training at CIPFA, is hoping that the new changes of the qualification will help more students to secure the public sector accountancy qualification. The courses will be available from September 2009 in Kaplan centres in London, Birmingham and Leeds.
