Welsh firm KTS Owens Thomas is planning to expand into new markets in England and has launched a nationwide forensic accounting and litigation service, saying it anticipates ‘substantial growth’
With offices in Cardiff, Aberdare and Swansea, the firm already operates one of the largest dedicated forensic support teams in Wales. The new operation, called KTS Forensic, will offer support on business and share valuation cases, matrimonial proceedings, fraud investigations, proceeds of crime (POCA) and criminal defence, tax investigations, and commercial and contractual disputes in both Wales and across the border.
David Owens, founder of KTS Owens Thomas, said: ‘This is an exciting growth plan for the business, developing our dedicated team of forensic experts into a unique and well recognised brand for the legal profession.
‘We anticipate substantial growth in coming years and will continue to invest in developing our staff to ensure service delivery is proactive and well-positioned to support the legal profession across Wales and England.’
KTS Owens Thomas is a 60-strong team with over 50 years of trading experience, with clients ranging from individuals, large organisations and international businesses.
Tanya Wilson, joint Head of KTS Forensic said of the new service: ‘KTS Forensic speaks directly to the legal profession who are looking for an exceptional level of financial support in what are often very complex matters. Demand for a nationwide service now makes us one of the largest dedicated Wales forensic teams with expertise across a whole range of forensic accountancy services.
‘The new brand gives us the opportunity to further contribute to the firm’s development and direction, while a newly launched website for the service provides a scalable suite of forensic services in all areas of forensic and litigation support.’
