Good news. We're living longer. Life expectancy today for the average person in the UK is a little over 80, a massive 10 years more than just half a century ago. And it is a trend that looks set to continue – in the UK, between now and 2030, there will be a 51% rise in those aged over 65 and a 101% increase in those over 85.
