Russell G Golden has been named as the next chairman of the US Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), effective 1 July 2013. The appointment was made by the Board of Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF), which oversees the FASB and sister organisation, the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. Golden will succeed current FASB chairman Leslie F Seidman, whose term ends on 30 June.

Andrew Morris has been appointed CFO of Globus. Morris has been at Ernst & Young for 13 years and most recently was director of corporate finance and M&A

Zurich has announced Neil Freshwater as chief financial officer. Joining from Caitlin UK, Freshwater held the CFO role and was previously director of group reporting & planning at Aviva for five years.

Alan Bezzant has been made chief executive at Russell Bedford International. Prior to filling the newly created role, Bezzant was executive director at PKF International Limited and at Moore Stephens UK, where he held the same role for eight years.
