NAPF conference date set for March

The launch of a new framework for the state pension reform will set the scene for the annual National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF)conference.

Scheduled for 6 to 8 March at the EICC, Edinburgh, the NAPF conference will address the sluggish economic growth, low gilt yields and the eurozone crisis, which have all strongly affected pension funds and their investment strategies.

The event will highlight the latest thinking on pension design and investment choices, and the challenges that pension funds and other institutional investors should expect in 2013.

Speakers include Lady Barbara Judge, Chair, Pension Protection Fund; professor Paul Marsh, London Business School and Keith Ambachtsheer, director, Rotman International Centre for Pension Management.

This event attracts around 800 attendees from a range of pension and investment professionals, including plan sponsor representatives, pension scheme managers, trustees, investment managers and professional advisers.
