National minimum wage rate up 6.7%

The new financial year always marks a host of changes and this year is no different, but the various increases are coming at a time when employers and employees alike are feeling the impact of rising costs. National minimum wage and national living wage

Increases in the rates of national minimum wage and national living wage (NMW/NLW) come into effect from 1 April 2025. Note the sizeable increase in the 18-20 rate as the government aims to equalise pay scales over time with the 21+ rate.
