Dennis M. Nally has been reappointed as chairman of PwC international. Nally's second three-year term will begin on 1 July 2013. Prior to holding the role for the firm globally, he was chairman of PwC's US arm. He has been with the firm since 1974.

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chair Mary L. Schapiro is to step down on the 14 December. Schapiro was appointed by US president Barack Obama in January 2009. She is the only person to have ever served as chairman of both the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which she did from 1994 until 1996

Richard Keers is to join Schroders next May as its next CFO. By the time he joins Schroders, it will have been 26 months since Keers, currently a PwC partner, was auditor of his future employer. He joined the firm in 1988.

Publishing company Totally has named Don Baladasan as finance director. Baladasan is a finance consultant at Totally and has formerly held the position of head of accounting development at Stemcor as well as roles at Burson Marsteller AG, BUPA Hospitals and Financial Times.
