BDO LLP has strengthened its advisory team with the appointment of Jonathan Rowan as M&A partner. He joins BDO to lead the firm’s commercial due diligence offering in the technology, media and telecoms sector (TMT). He has over 20 years of experience working in the TMT sector and has spent time working across various areas of M&A including strategy and consulting. At BDO, Rowan will use his experience of working with private equity backed businesses and support transactions on both the buy and sell side. He joins the firm from telecoms and technology firm Neos Networks and will be based in London.

Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants has promoted Kelly Davies to partner. Based in the Bridgwater and Somerton offices, Davies originally trained and qualified with the firm. She joined Thomas Westcott in 2012 and provides businesses and individuals with a full range of accountancy services. Supporting a large number of agricultural clients, she also advises limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and charities. After qualifying as a chartered certified accountant in 2017, she quickly progressed through the firm and was promoted to manager in 2017 and director in 2020.
