Matthew Neill and Simon Tadman have been promoted to associate directors at Creaseys. Neill joined Creaseys 10 years ago and specialises in corporate and business requirements. Tadman has been with the firm since 2009 and deals with private clients.

Rowanmoor Group has appointed Stewart Dick as a regional sales manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland. He is joining the firm from PayPlan where he was head of business development. He has worked in the financial services industry for over fifteen years with experience in the pensions sector.

Scottish financial services company, Thorntons Investments, has made three appointments. Matthew Brown has joined as chartered investment manager and Susan Bennett and Alison Miller have become chartered financial planners. Brown joins from Brewin Dolphin where he was assistant director and is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Bennett also joins from Brewin Dolphin where her role was divisional director and is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Miller was formerly with Anderson Strathern and is also a solicitor so will also work with Thorntons Law LLP.

Rotherham Taylor Limited has welcomed trainee accountant, Joseph Scott-Bentley to its team. He joins the firm having completed a BA Hons degree in accounting and an MA in accounting and finance.

Neela Chauhan has joined Wilson Wright, from Sopher + Co, as head of tax. As head of her previous firm’s tax division she has worked with a number of high profile clients to deliver a variety of tax services, while pushing audit, investment and accountancy support to a wide range of businesses and high-net worth individuals.

The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (CIIA) has appointed Paul Boyle OBE as President. For the past six years, Boyle has been chief audit officer at Aviva and from 2004-2009 was chief executive of the financial Reporting Council (FRC). He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, and served as a member of its council from 1990-1996.
