French Duncan has promoted directors Tommy Bates and Elizabeth Leonard to partners, reflecting the contribution of both to the firm. Bates has been with the audit department since 2001, having qualified with a national accountancy firm. Leonard started her career at French Duncan, undertaking her tax traineeship in the late 1990s before leaving the firm. Previously she was an associate tax director at RSM UK. She manages the corporate tax compliance function and the tax team.
