EY has appointed Paul Kitson as a partner to lead its UK pensions consulting business. He will head up a team of over 50 actuaries, scheme specialists and investment consultants advising pension funds, corporate sponsors and pension providers. Kitson joins after a decade at PwC, where he was a partner advising some of the UK’s largest corporates and pension funds on a wide range of specialist areas. Prior to PwC, he was a managing director at Nomura, having started his career at actuarial advisors, Towers Watson and Aon Hewitt.
KPMG has promoted Neil Connor to UK head of asset management, replacing Ben Lucas who has left the firm to become CEO at an international asset management company. Connor is a partner in KPMG UK’s financial services deals team, advising UK and global businesses on strategy and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He has extensive experience within the asset management sector having worked in industry before joining KPMG over 10 years ago.
