PwC has appointed four new partners to its health practice, Rod Maxwell and Tom Hampshire have been admitted as consulting partners, Yvonne Mowlds as a forensic services partner and Damien Ashford as a turnaround partner. Maxwell is based in Manchester and works with government and health industry clients and Hampshire is based in the Midlands working with health and social care organisations and care professionals. Mowlds leads a team which specialises in healthcare-related investigations and Ashford will have a national role with a base in Manchester.

EY’s Ove Svejstrup returns to the Channel Islands as a new executive director. Svejstrup moved to EY in Guernsey from the Copenhagen office and has more than 15 years’ experience within the financial services industry. In his new role, he will be focusing on providing support to private equity and banking clients.

PKF Littlejohn has promoted Catharine Heyes to tax partner bringing the total number of tax partners and directors to eight and the number of partners in the firm to 36. Heyes joined the firm as a senior tax manager in 2014. She specialises in employee share schemes, exit strategies, restructuring and R&D claims.

Justin Moss has been appointed as partner at MHA MacIntyre Hudson in its High Wycombe office. Moss, who is a chartered accountant, joined the accountancy firm in 2009 as a graduate trainee and specialises in corporate finance.

The Pensions Regulator has announced the appointment of Nicola Parish as its executive director for front-line regulation. Parish has worked at the Pensions Regulator for eight years and has been director of legal services and enterprise risk management, and most recently director of case management. She will now be responsible for the education and enablement activities of customer support and regulatory transactions teams, risk identification and escalation by intelligence, and the enforcement interventions of the case management team.

Mario Antoniou has joined Baldwins Accountants as a senior manager, and is responsible for attracting new clients as well as maintaining relationships with existing ones. He joins a team of 60 people at Baldwin’s Coventry offices following their recent acquisition of accountancy practice Fox Evans.

Andrew Ainsworth has been appointed as business development manager at accountants, Gibson Booth Ltd. In order to drive growth. Previously, he worked at Enterprising Barnsley, the economic development arm of Barnsley Council, for 27 years.

Four members of Bishop Fleming’s specialist charity team have been awarded the diploma in charity accounting (DChA) by the ICAEW. The recent awards for Andy Wood (partner), Will Hanbury (partner), Ben Thorne (manager) and Shaun Mooney (manager) bring the firm's total holders of the DChA qualification to 12.
