The pass rates were consistently high in the latest series of professional level exams (for June 2016 sitting).

This was the first sitting of the new business planning: banking and business planning: insurance modules with a pass rate of 91.2% and 87.5% respectively.

ACA students also excelled in tax compliance (88%) and business strategy (89%).

ICAEW executive director of learning & professional development, Mark Protherough, said:  ‘We are really proud of yet again another fantastic set of results. I would like to congratulate all of our students who are demonstrating that businesses look set to be in safe hands with such a promising stream of future chartered accountants coming through.’

He adds: ‘I hope these students are proud of their achievements and wish them the very best of luck as they continue to work towards becoming an ICAEW chartered accountant.’
