As environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues have rapidly dominated the political, social, and corporate agenda, particularly since the onset of the pandemic, and the pressure on companies of all sizes, and across all sectors, to improve their performance against ESG metrics has increased, so too has the push for accountability, and the scrutiny of that performance from multiple stakeholders.
