Jonathan Fox, managing partner at top 20 accounting firm Saffery Champness, has been re-elected to serve another four-year term in the role.

Fox - who also previously ran a law firm as well as a barristers' chambers - is the only non-accountant managing partner in among the UK's leading accounting firms, having been elected in 2010 after joining in 2008 as executive partner.

Under his leadership, the firm - which is the 16th largest firm, according to Accountancy's 2013 Top 60 ranking of firms, has 600 staff including 68 partners and directors across UK, Geneva, Guernsey and Zurich. It has seen 13% growth over the past three years with fee income rising from £56m to nearly £59m in the past 12 months alone.

Fox said he is delighted with his reappointment.

'Our success is the result of sheer hard work and collaboration by all of our dedicated people across the business, and by sticking to our core focus on private clients and steadfastly pursuing the plans we laid out back in 2011. It has been a fulfilling journey thus far, and I greatly look forward to the opportunity that the next four years represent for the firm as we continue on our exciting growth trajectory,' said Fox.

Saffery Champness chairman David Macey said that Fox has played a key role in leading the firm towards a prosperous future.
