Sagars merges with Anderson Anderson & Brown

The Leeds-based accountancy firm Sagars has announced that it has agreed a merger deal with the business-critical services group Anderson Anderson & Brown (AAB)

The merger is set to support both firms’ ambitious growth plans in providing technology-led proposition for SMEs across the UK with a specific focus on the north of England.

The firms stated that they are on track to deliver a combined revenue of £40m in the current financial year. Sagars is on track to deliver a revenue of £7.5m in this financial year and Anderson Anderson & Brown’s is set to deliver £32.5m.  

The firms also state that they have a clear strategy in place to deliver a group revenue of £70m by 2026.

The merger adds 100 staff from Sagars to Anderson Anderson & Brown’s 350 strong team with the firms stating that this move will make for one of the strongest and most expansive business portfolios of audit, accounting, tax, payroll, HR, consulting, wealth and corporate finance in the UK.
