Smith & Williamson on the move in Manchester

Smith & Williamson has relocated it Manchester office from its current base within the Begbies Traynor premises on the city's famous Deansgate, to Vantage Point in Spinningfields.

The firm's acquisition of BTG Tax in late 2011, saw it venture into the Manchester market for the first time in its 100-year history.

Leo Coyle, partner and head of tax investigations in Manchester said: 'We are delighted to have relocated to the heart of this vibrant business district. The new office gives us an independent location and our intention, in due course, is to increase our current numbers to provide a full tax offering.'

Smith & Williamson has taken 2,000 sq ft at Vantage Point on a five year lease.
