South east merger for UHY Hacker Young

The Hove office of UHY Hacker Young, part of the UHY Hacker Young national accountancy group, has merged with the Brighton accountancy firm, John A. Tuffin & Co.

Following the move, partners Roger and Peter Tuffin and their staff will join UHY Hacker Young at their offices in Hove.

Richard Simmons, managing partner at UHY Hacker Young’s Hove office, said: ‘The merger gives us a great opportunity to expand the range of services that we will be able to offer our enlarged client base. John A. Tuffin’s clients will benefit from the auditing service offered by us at UHY Hacker Young, while our own clients will now have access to an expanded range of products including will writing and estate planning and administration.

‘Our international network will offer John A. Tuffin’s clients advice and support if they wish to expand overseas.’

 The UHY Hacker Young Group, which is network of independent partnerships, is ranked at 15 in the Accountancy Top 75 league table of firms, with a fee income of £56.7m in 2016.

Peter Tuffin said: ‘The synergies the combined firms will generate will be of great benefit to our clients both current and in the future. I am really looking forward to the opportunities the merger will bring and to the enhanced service our clients will enjoy.’
