The senior management team will remain with Streets Bush, including senior partner Sunny Truran, managing director Shane Cann, and director Catherine Dymond, while the team of around 35 staff will also transfer to the merged firm.

Butler & Co was founded in 1955 and following the merger has been rebranded as Streets Bush, which will continue to operate out of the firm’s central Exeter office.

This merger helps consolidate Streets’ reach in the south west of the country following the firm’s move into Bristol just 12 months ago.

This is the sixth deal for Top 40 accounting firm Streets in the last six months and has seen the practice grow substantially, now with more than 28 offices and fee income over £40m. There are a number of further deals currently under negotiation. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
