Streets merges with Metherell Gard in Cornwall

Independently owned Streets has merged with Metherell Gard, the largest accountancy practice in Bude, expanding presence in the South West

The move marks an important step in Streets’ independent growth strategy, expanding to more than 30 offices nationwide without private equity backing. The merger also ensures continuity for Metherell Gard’s long-standing clients, while offering wider opportunities for its 20-strong team as part of a larger, people-focused group.

Established in the 1940s, Metherell Gard has built a strong reputation as a general practice, supporting generations of clients across farming, tourism, hospitality, charities, and the local business community.

The practice is the largest in the Bude area of Cornwall, with a 20-strong team and four directors – Nigel Cox, Pearl Mead, Greg Cook and Tom Vigg.

Metherell Gard will continue to operate from its existing offices in Bude and will retain its name and own identity within the Streets group.
