Recently appointed KPMG UK chair Bina Mehta has been awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to trade and investment in the UK and female entrepreneurs.
Nicholas Robson Owen, previously UK chair for Deloitte between 2015 and 2021, received a Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to the professional services sector.
PwC management consultant Jo Salter received an MBE, however it wasn’t for her work for the Big Four firm, rather it was for her contribution to aviation as the aviation ambassador for the Department for Transport.
The former BT Group chair Jan du Plessis, who was announced in December as the next chair of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) subject to MP’s approval, has been awarded a knighthood for his services to telecommunications and business after overseeing the negotiations with regulators for BT’s full fibre broadband rollout.
