Ofgem has confirmed that two more energy firms have gone out of business with the collapse of Entice Energy, which comprises both Entice Energy Supply Limited and Simply Your Energy Limited, and Orbit Energy Limited had ceased trading.

Mansfield-based Entice Energy supplied around 5,400 domestic customers and London supplier Orbit Energy supplied around 65,000. The energy crisis has affected almost four million households since August. 

Last week, Ofgem ordered five suppliers to pay what they owe into a scheme to support small-scale renewable energy production or risk having their licences removed.
