US tax reform: impact of territorial tax changes - part 1

In part one of a three-part series on US taxation, PwC US national professional services partner Donald Doran explains the impact of the swingeing changes to the country's tax system for companies with stateside interests

In December 2017, President Trump signed tax reform legislation with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act 2017 (TCJA 2017), which includes a broad range of tax reforms affecting business, including corporate tax rates, business deductions and international tax provisions. Many of these provisions significantly differ from prior US tax law, resulting in pervasive financial reporting implications.
