Venus: artificial intelligence in the boardroom

The gathering pace of technology means that machine learning and blockchain will soon make their presence felt at the top level of business, but there will still be a need for someone to hold the reins, argues David Venus FCIS

Robotics and machine learning are set to change our world, including the way we do business. We are sometimes described as having entered the fourth industrial revolution. The first three concerned the development of steam power, the harnessing of electricity, and the creation of the modern computer. The fourth revolves around the development of artificial intelligence (AI).
