The majority of revenue came from £17.8m in membership subscriptions and £12.9m [2021: £9.9m] from exam and qualification assessments. The AAT is in a strong financial position with a surplus of £7.1m.

The pandemic has changed working patterns at the AAT with the majority of staff now on new contracts which allow for hybrid working. In addition, this meant that the association reduced the amount of leased space it was taking at its new office in Canary Wharf.
