An accountant who admitted last year to embezzling £25,000 from an Edinburgh jewellers in order to keep his own business going, has now been given six more weeks to pay the money back. Employed by diamond specialist Macintyres in November 2005, the 54-year-old accountant from Kirkcaldy has so far paid back £10,000 but has been trying to sell his home to repay the rest, the BBC reports. Last year James Wyse admitted to stealing the money between April 2006 and March 2007, in order to fund his own business, when it was discovered he had made 15 unauthorised online payments out of company accounts into his own.
