Accountants question four-day week

To make the four-day week work, firms would have to increase their fees by 25% to match the required output, says director of Edwards accountants

The four-day week trial in the UK, coordinated by 4 Day Week Global, is just over two months into the pilot scheme.

The six-month pilot programme launched across 60 UK firms, including more than 3,000 employees across 30 sectors.

So far, the trial has produced mixed results, with some firms questioning whether they will continue the scheme once it ends in December.
