Adrian Allen and Lindsey Cooper of Baker Tilly restructuring and recovery have been appointed joint administrators of Bradford-based printing firm, Alpha Media Solutions Ltd.

All 61 staff have been made redundant at the company, which was set up in 2006, and carried on a business as a litho printer and print finisher.

Adrian Allen, restructuring and recovery partner at Baker Tilly in Leeds, and one of the joint administrators, said: 'Along with many firms in this sector, Alpha Media Solutions has experienced difficult trading conditions and in recent months has been loss making. The directors have taken steps to attempt to restructure the company's cost base but difficulties in obtaining credit lines with suppliers has meant that the business in its current format is no longer viable.'

The administrators are currently looking to sell the company's business and assets with a view to maximising recoveries for creditors.
