The last in a series on parental rights during employment focuses on implications into adoption leave, examining the rights and responsibilities of both employer and employee whie considering statutory adoption pay

Employees who adopt a child (up to age 18) are entitled, regardless of length of service, to take up to 26 weeks’ ordinary adoption leave (OAL) followed immediately by 26 weeks’ additional adoption leave (AAL). Both men and women are eligible.
