A review of pre-packs will only
be useful if it improves transparency and considers long-term business
interests
The government’s planned 2013 review of pre-pack administrations
is a welcome development, particularly as proposals put forward in
2011 were withdrawn and things have remained unchanged since then.
Getting some well-considered proposals back on the table will help
to address public mistrust of this option and clarify the position
for all who act for ailing businesses.
