AQI 2022: Deloitte improves audit quality but group audits problematic

Deloitte has shown improvement across the board in the annual audit quality inspection (AQI) cycle, but still needs to focus on improving the quality of group audits and closer adherence to the Ethical Standard

Deloitte increased the number of audits requiring no more than limited improvements to 82% with 15 audits falling into this category, compared with 79% in the previous year and 80% on average over the past five years. Only three audits required improvements, compared with four the previous year, according to the latest AQI report from the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).
