Axiom Ince accountants sued by administrators

Court filings reveal administrators are suing the accountants of collapsed law firm Axiom Ince for negligence

The accountancy firm, Adrian C Mansbridge & Co Limited (ACMO), faces a claim over their work connected to their client law firm Axiom Ince, previously known as Axiom DWFM Limited after the company filed unaudited accounts. The accounts were signed off by the accountancy firm prior to the collapse of Axiom Ince in October 2023 facing multiple investigations into the whereabouts of more than £64m in client money.

Law firm Kennedy’s has filed the claim on behalf of the administrators of Axiom Ince Limited, against ACMO who were accountants for Axiom Ince, previously known as Axiom DWFM Limited. The administration is being handled by Leonard Curtis.

ACMO is a Middlesex based chartered accountancy firm with a sole director and ACCA chartered accountant, Adrian Mansbridge, who has been running the business for over two decades and originally trained at a Big Four firm before working in business. It is regulated by ICAEW and registered as auditors by ACCA, and was founded by Mansbridge in 2014. According to Companies House it has always filed dormant company accounts since inception.
