I was honoured to win the accountancy category of the Women in the City awards in 2011.

It was great to be recognised alongside a range of really impressive women from other business sectors.

The strength of the shortlist underlines the fact that also comes through in many other awards and initiatives: there are many women who are achieving great things in business – often at the same time as raising a family.
