BDO reshapes leadership team with tax and audit changes

Mid-tier firm BDO has overhauled leadership team as incoming managing partner, Mark Shaw, promises ‘a mix of continuity and new faces’

Shaw is due to take over from Paul Eagland on 1 October after his eight-year term ends.

The new leadership team will have 11 members, headed by Shaw, with a third being women, up from a quarter, and has three more members than the current board.

The key heads of tax and audit have changed with five new partners on the team from 1 October.

A number of key appointments see major changes at the top of the firm with Dominic Stammers named as head of audit, taking over from Scott Knight. Stammers is an audit partner in the consumer markets team in the London audit group.
