The top 40 firm has taken an additional 6,000 square feet of office space at its current site at 10 Templeback. It has added an adjacent floor of the landmark waterfront building, extending its combined lease for 10 years.

It now occupies nearly 20,000 square feet of the building in Bristol city centre, cementing its position as the city’s largest regional accountancy firm by a significant distance. It is also the largest office in the group, which has offices from Birmingham to Truro.

The move is part of the firm’s ambitious Better Growth strategy. The office expansion supports the firm’s planned headcount growth in the Bristol office, where it now employs 230 people, creating the capacity to expand well beyond 300 employees over the next few years.

Bishop Fleming has seen double-digit growth over the last eight years with fee income of £45.8m for year end May 2024, up an impressive 20% year-on-year, driven by strong performance in the audit service line. The firm is ranked 36 in the Business & Accountancy Daily Top 75 Firms 2025, and said it was ‘on track to exceed fees of £50m in 2025’.

Specialist workplace designers, Interaction, who also recently supported Bishop Fleming’s recent Exeter office relocation, have helped to fit out the additional space at 10 Temple Back.

The Grade A office has an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating and many other green credentials, and is designed with a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing, collaboration, and sustainability.

 The firm continues to invest in its future, appointing three new partners so far this year to strengthen its leadership and support its growing client base, bringing partner numbers to 41, with total headcount at nearly 500 staff.

With ambitions to significantly increase headcount over the next few years, Bishop Fleming will hire a further 70 apprentices in 2025 through its apprentice programme, accredited as Outstanding by Ofsted. It is also a certified Great Place to Work.
