The move is part of BK Plus’ strategic expansion in the region and sees Walker Moyle Chartered Accountants, which has three offices in Penzance, Redruth, and St Ives, and Pooleys Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers in Truro join the group.

Both firms have been rebranded as BK Plus.

Walker Moyle is the oldest practice to join BK Plus with roots dating back to 1925. It has 12 staff and is run by partner and sole director Paula Thomas, who will join the firm as a consultant along with the existing team. Walker Moyle has estimated fee income in excess of £400,000 with net assets of £1.01m based on the latest filleted accounts at Companies House for FY23.

Thomas, who has been with Walker Moyle since 1996, said: ‘We see joining BK Plus as the next step for the business. BK Plus share our client ethos and values, and this partnership allows us to offer wider services and expertise to our clients in Cornwall.’
