Chris Williams is a senior manager in the national tax team at Mazars, specialising in private client matters and chairs the CIOT succession taxes sub-committee.

Williams has long experience in tax, beginning at what was the Inland Revenue, now HMRC, before moving into accountancy in the mid-1980s. He specialises in private client taxation issues and is Mazars’ private client technical officer. He is chairman of the CIOT’s succession taxes subcommittee and a respected author on tax matters, while he is also one of the UK’s top crossword solvers.
