Deloitte is planning to add significant investment in its cloud services to prove clients with an advanced set of analytic and cognitive skills to enable their digital transformation.

Day1 acts as a systems integrator, managed service provider and reseller of cloud-based technology.

The services of Day1’s team will help to enhance Deloitte’s cloud capabilities and its collaboration with leading cloud platforms, with Day1’s customer base extending across commercial industries and government agencies, with significant success in the public sector.

As well as acquiring Day1 to boost its cloud presence, Deloitte is adding 3,000 new engineers over the next year to help organisations integrate and manage business operations in the cloud. The majority of these new engineers will operate out of three new cloud studios to be opened in Orlando, New York and Washington, expanding the existing network of 44 Deloitte digital studios worldwide.
