Student update

A four-page guide to UK taxation for international students has been produced by HM Revenue & Customs and is available at ://http://tiny.cc/8Z1vv

The current form P38S that applies for students working during their vacation will be scrapped at the end of tax year 2010/11 and replaced with a new student PAYE tax code, more suited to current student working patterns. This idea was first announced in the November 2008 pre-Budget report, so will have taken almost two and a half years to implement.
