Time to reassess car schemes

The increase in the car fuel benefit base figure from £18,800 to £20,200 for 2012/13 was not announced until the Budget, so many company car drivers who continue to have the benefit of free fuel will not see the full amount included in their PAYE coding restriction (or K code).
