Ironing out the NI quirks

HM Revenue & Customs is consulting on the NI regulations that affect teachers, tutors and lecturers, and has suggested that the rules requiring Class 1 NIC contributions despite self-employment, might be repealed. A sense of déjà vu is justified, as there was a previous consultation on this issue in 2009-10.
