EY Global revenue hits $49.4bn

EY Global has reported one of its best ever years with fee income of $49.4bn, up 25% since the pandemic, despite disruption caused by the now abandoned plan to split the firm into two entities

Total annual revenues were $49.4bn (£39.6bn), up 14.2% for the financial year ending June 2023 (FY23), compared with $45.4bn in FY22. Since the start of the pandemic EY has increased revenue by 25%, from $40bn in FY21, highlighting the resilience of the accounting profession to any potential downturn in the economy and is ranked third in terms of accounting global networks.

The strongest service sectors were consulting, tax and audit, all reporting double digit growth.
