The appointments mark a 10% increase in EY’s total partner population in the UK to 1,683, compared to 1,533 partners at the start of the last financial year.

The Big Four firm said many of the partner appointments were in its sectors, service lines and regional business, in areas such as audit, financial services, technology consulting, ey parthenon, private equity, and the energy sector. Nearly half (42%) of the new appointments are equity partners and around a quarter (62) are based outside of London.
