French Duncan accountants vote for hybrid working

Nearly half the staff at accountancy firm French Duncan want to adopt a hybrid way of working with three days of remote working seen as the best option, according to an internal poll

When asked about their views on remote working, 97% responded positively on how they had coped and want to continue this working pattern moving forward.

The recent survey of the Scottish accountancy firm’s 200 employees found that only 0.5% felt full time office working was their optimum working arrangement and that a hybrid model of three days at home and two in the office was the most desired with 39% in support, followed by two days at home and three in the office favoured by 20%.

The most popular day of the week for home working was Friday with 34% of selecting it, while Tuesday was the most popular day to work in the office, with 28% of staff in support.
